GI Diet - VitoSlim - Lose Weight, Be Slim

She was born in 2004 as a clinical trial, when Dr. David Jenkins of the University of Toronto has noticed the effect of different carbohydrates in patients with diabetes.

What "work" this diet? GI stands for "Glycogen index - a scale of 1 to 100, which describes the speed with which absorb carbohydrates. Foods with low GI, such as oatmeal and red beet release glucose slowly and smoothly. Foods with high GI make a quick "shock" and cause the body to produce insulin, which then converts excess glucose into fat.

What critics say: Almost nothing. Medical industry considers GI diet for one of the few in which there is common sense and one of the healthiest diets.

Fans of the diet: Kylie Minogue
