Do nothing else while eating. Stay alert and conscious when you are on the table and food to decrease somewhat mechanical feeding, which is obtained by thinking about other things. A good way to handle this is to turn their time eating only at mealtime, rather than read the newspaper and watch television. The better deal, more rarely will you feel when you eat!
