Permitted and prohibited vegetables and canned vegetable in diet
Allowed: All vegetables, which contain 10% carbohydrates - white cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cucumbers (especially valuable in dietary obesity, as they contain the active substance tartronoic acid, which helps mobilize fat from fat stores and burning in the process of exchange), peppers, bell peppers, salad, lettuce, zucchini, okra, green beans, carrots, red beets, green beans, red tomatoes (total amount of vegetables should not exceed 400 g per day), frozen vegetables, sterilized canned vegetable.
Limited: vegetables, containing more than 1O% carbohydrates - potatoes, mushrooms, vegetables containing large quantities of essential oils appetite - turnips, radishes, kale, onions, garlic, leeks.
Prohibited: pulses - beans, peas, lentils, soy-beans, dock, spinach, nettle, sorrel, salt bush, aubergines.
